As you read the Word of God, obtain a heart-felt understanding that only comes via the Holy Spirit, so that your comprehension will be founded on love and a firm grasp of the Word.  Read the Word knowing that it is alive and sharper than any two-edged sword for those who believe.  Be not only a hearer, but a doer of the Word.  Take time to search the Scriptures,  for the best explanation of the Bible is the Bible itself.
